Issues & Projects

Throughout its history, AFW has effectively promoted university-wide policies and changes on a range of issues of special concern to faculty women.

AFW is currently working with the university administration on policies to:

  • ensure that women faculty succeed in tenure and promotion
  • increase the numbers of women faculty as full professors, chaired professors,  department chairs, and other key administrators
  • attract and recruit greater numbers of women faculty
  • maintain and gain salary equity for women faculty
  • improve tenure and promotion policies for all faculty
