Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response

Holly Ashkannejhad, J.D., Director of the Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Investigation, will join us for a presentation and discussion that will include what to do if you or a student is experiencing sexual harassment as well as issues around reporting and confidentiality. The Samuel H. Smith Leadership Award was established in 2000 to show AFW’s appreciation to President Emeritus Smith for his leadership in advancing the role of women at WSU. The 2019 award winner, Catherine(Katie) Cooper will be recognized at a special ceremony on March 4, 2020 at 5:00pm in the Honors Lounge, to be followed by a reception. Please join President Smith, past award recipients, and AFW offices and members in recognizing and celebrating Dr. Cooper’s achievement.
