You are enthusiastically invited to attend the WSU Association for Faculty Women’s upcoming Summer Picnic! This annual event serves as a great way to soak up summer in the company of existing friends and new members of our community. This year we will gather at the home of AFW Past-President Blythe Duell in Pullman.

The Summer Picnic marks the beginning of our 2024-2025 membership year and is also a nice opportunity for existing AFW community members to share the joys of AFW with colleagues who may not yet be connected. We hope to see many familiar and new faces at this gathering! You may choose to renew your AFW membership at the Summer Picnic, so please plan your cash, checks, and Venmo button-pushing accordingly.

Blythe has a lovely backyard where we will eat dinner. There will be chairs and other places to sit in the yard. You are welcome to bring a lawn/camping chair to sit on as you enjoy dinner. Whatever is most comfortable for you. Inside options are also available.

  • $15 for dues paying faculty/staff AFW members
  • $20 for faculty/staff non-members
  • $5 for dues paying graduate student members
