Making mindfulness practical: Easy, fun, and useful strategies for connecting with your mind, breath, and body.

January 30, 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

In this workshop, Colleen Kerr and Anne Cox will teach participants practical strategies for being more mindful. Participants will explore different mindfulness practices including meditation, using the power of breath, and moving the body with intention. All of these strategies are designed to enhance well-being, feel better in your body, and to work and interact more effectively with others both at home and at work. Thus, participants will leave with simple, fun techniques that can be applied in their professional and personal lives. We will also build in time for sharing and connecting with other participants.

All members of the community are welcome to join us. Please invite colleagues, including faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to this event.
