50th Day of 2025 System-Wide Celebration
This year marks a milestone — the 50th anniversary of the Association for Faculty Women (AFW)! In recognition of this achievement, AFW is hosting system-wide social gatherings on each campus on the 50th day of 2025 — Wednesday, February 19.

We invite you to attend this informal, come-and-go-as-you-please gathering of AFW members and supporters on the WSU Pullman, Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver campuses to celebrate our collective achievements, connect with colleagues, and strengthen our community.

This event is more than just a celebration — it’s an opportunity to build new connections, learn about AFW’s advocacy efforts, including our regular meetings with the Provost’s Office, and explore ways to engage in upcoming professional development and social events.

Founded in 1975, Washington State University’s Association for Faculty Women is a broadly inclusive group that promotes successful and satisfying careers for women and other marginalized genders by creating opportunities for members to connect in environments that are welcoming, supportive, and empowering.
